Larger images in feeds (for tumblr users & co)

tips — Victor on April 22, 2008 at 1:11 am

Little tip for those of you who want to show the feed images in a different size, rather than the thumb one. Just append the “?size=” parameter to the RSS url, followed by the size you want (’s’ for small, ‘m’ for medium, and ‘h’ for “high”)

For example: http://vi.sualize.us/rss/photography/?size=h

You can see it working here:

Full page for picture

general, new things — Victor on April 16, 2008 at 1:11 pm

Hey all! Long time no see ya! ;)

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I’ve been a little bit busy lately with some server issues and optimizations due to the high load that visualizeus is having, which is without doubt a very good sign!
Thanks to all of you who are spreading the word, as more visualizers means more fun for all :)

By the way, long time requested feature is already here: full page for each picture, replacing the thickbox fast view. Don’t panic, the thickbox isn’t completely gone. I’m the first one who finds very useful the fast view way sometimes, so I leave it as a side option in the hover options.

With the full page for each picture, you can see all the information around that picture more easily, and even edit your pictures info from the same page. Also the related pictures is a good way to discover more inspiring pictures. I have tons of ideas to keep improving this page, so stay tunned.

Hope you like it, and find it useful. As always critics and feedback are welcomed ;)
